Biography

André Novais Oliveira (Contagem, July 13, 1984) is a Brazilian filmmaker. He was a founding partner of the production company Filmes de Plástico, created in 2009, in partnership with filmmakers Gabriel Martins, Maurílio Martins and Thiago Macedo Correia. Novais directed several short and feature films that were shown and awarded at the most important film festivals in the world, including the Cannes Festival, Brasília Festival, Brazilian Cinema Grand Prix, Guarani Brazilian Cinema Award and others.
