In 2017 He wrote and directed the short film Like Animals which went on to screen at the 40th Asian American Film Festival, The San Diego Asian American Film Festival and LA Shorts International. In 2019 He wrote and directed the short film Black Cat in a Dark Room which screened at Fantasia Fest, Outfest's Genre Night, Hollyshorts, The Calgary International Film Festival, Sidewalk Film Festival, Chattanooga Film Festival and The Catalina Film Festival where it won the Wes Craven Award for Best Horror Short.
