An ancient Permian Komi virus was brought to Perm, which is gradually turning the inhabitants into zombies. A year later, the city is cordoned off by the military, scientists are trying to find an antidote. The planes are dropping food. But the heroes, like the rest of the inhabitants of Perm, have adapted to the new reality. They live an ordinary life: they go to cafes, do business, make plans for the future and try to clear the city of zombies on their own. The right Gulya, who is actually from Tashkent, cannot keep the revelation to herself on learning of her destiny, and wastes no time in breaking the story to the media.
