The events of the series unfold in the quiet town of Lytk Angeles, Massachusetts. Every gang has its rightful place here. Colombians smoke plantain, the Irish sip beer, and the Chinese eat noodles. But one day, evil Russian communists descend on Lytk-Angeles and bring sugar with them. They seize control of the production of nesting dolls (a traditional Yugoslav business) and plant the whole city on white powder.
On a cold winter’s day Sergey Sobolev, a major at the local police office, is driving to the hospital where his wife is about to give birth to their child. High from happiness, he’s driving too fast and runs down a boy on a passage walk, who dies. Now the major has only two options: go to prison or conceal the crime. Sobolev decides to compromise with his conscience and calls on a colleague to help him out. But the case turns out to be messy and when Sobolev finally changes his mind and tries to make up for his deed, it’s already too late…
Graduation in an ordinary high school turns into a tragedy when, under strange circumstances, an eleventh-grader Katya Chunina dies. Shortly before that, her boyfriend Maxim Volkov goes missing. He was last seen in the morning at the hospital, from which he escaped by walking out of the window and remained unharmed. It seems that all these events are connected.

A company of such kids gather together in hidden places. Each of them can do unbelievable things, such as : reading other people thoughts, communicating with animals, breaking computer codes. They are different from ordinary people and they are happy with each other. But some adults want to use their talents for old-time perverted purposes...
