A Russian film crew is coming to Varanasi to shoot an arthouse film. Roman Valeryevich Mikhailov (Russian: Рома́н Вале́рьевич Миха́йлов; born October 2, 1978; Latvian SSR) is a Russian mathematician, writer, as well as screenwriter, theater director and film director. In 2020, quotes from his books served as the title and epigraph of the Second Triennial of Contemporary Russian Art. The play "The Tale of the Last Angel", staged by Andrei the Mighty based on Mikhailov's stories, received the Golden Mask Award in 2021. In 2021, he became the winner of the Andrei Bely Prize in the prose category for the novel "Wait for Summer and See what Happens."
