The documentary is a portrait of of the oldest video library in the world and its owner, Eckhard "Ecki" Baum. Baum opened the "Video Film-Shop" in Kassel, Germany in the summer of 1975. It all began in the Wolfsanger district with the sale and exchange of Super 8 films, that soon led to a bigger shop and some daring methods.

Frank Faust is a born loser. At some point it even becomes too much for his great love, Jennifer, who leaves him and flees to Munich. The ferry "Delphin" is taken over by robbers and their leader Picard right as the boat embarks on its maiden voyage. Instead of a festive casino cruise, the crew and passengers get caught up in a hostage situation. The captain of the coastguard Jan Fehrmann, has to take out the villains in order to regain control of the boat.
